Collective Brake selects a new Altitude to hold if Altitude hold is in use.
Today I demonstrate the use of the automatic direction finder in the Kamov-50 in DCS:World. In the example I preform an ADF approach after tuning the ADF to Nalchik airfield and identifying the signal through it's Morse code identifier. In the final example I demonstrate how the ADF can be slaved to the R-800 radio to display bearing to signals broadcasting over the frequency that the radio is tuned into.
Today I demonstrate the process of creating and editing waypoints in the PVI-800 navigation console as well as how to create and edit flightplans in the ABRIS computer. Remember that the PVI-800 handles coordinate data using the decimal system meaning you need to change the latitude/longitude data in the units tab of the setup page in the ABRIS computer.
Today I go over the ERBL sub function of the ABRIS moving map display. The Estimated Range and Bearing Line (ERBL) is used to take measurements from the aircraft to a point on the map display as well as taking measurements between two points on the map display. Information displayed includes coordinate data, range, bearing, altitude, and magnetic declination values.
In this tutorial I overview the use of the PRTz datalink control panel and all of it's functions. Included is datalink target creation, sending/receiving datalink information, sending wingmen to attack specified datalink targets, as well as an overview of the ingress function. Creating datalink targets: lock up the target with the Shkval Select target type in the upper row of the datalink control panel Press the SEND/MEM key to create a datalink target. Repeat as necessary for required targets. Press the RESET key on the targeting console to cage the shkval Sending datalink targets to wingmen Select target type in the upper row of the datalink control panel Select wingman you wish to send the information to in the center row of the datalink control panel Press the SEND/MEM key to relay the datalink information to the selected wingman. Setting the Shkval to automatically slew over selected targets. Set the shkval to standby Select target type in the upper row of the datalink control panel press the DL ingress key on the datalink control panel Selected target will begin to flash on the ABRIS display while in Nav master mode. uncage the shkval to automatically slew directly onto selected target target.
Basic Tutorial over-viewing the use of the 2A42 30mm cannon, 9A4172 Vikhr laser guided missile, as well of the use of unguided rockets. As well as a brief overview on the use of the Shkval daylight-only camera.30330
