This helicopter has fairly advanced autopilot and flight assist mode which helps to offload the pilot for target acquisition an firing. Its important to understand how trim works on the KA-50.
With the heavy use of flight assists in the KA-50, rudder pedals are not required and a twist axis on a joystick is more than sufficient. This is in contrast to flying the Huey where rudder pedals are very important as your wrist will get tired with the constant use of the rudder.
The helicopter has all of its labels in Russian which can make it a challenge to follow the tutorial videos as they mention when setting to select, but the setting name in English does not match up with the written Russian labels in the helicopter.
Options->Special->Ka-50->Customize Cockpit <- Set to English to see English text in Cockpit
The helicopter has all of its Avionics systems (not cockpit labels) in Russian. You can change avionics language globally to English under the Gameplay menu in Options.
