This page describes the various air traffic control aspects of the game when you are playing on a multi-player server with other players.
This assumes that you a have SRS installed and configured on your machine.
Follow the normal rules of the road when you are taxing to a run-way. Sometimes pilots will be taking off in groups, so be aware if you are approaching an intersection where you have the right-of-way but there are multiple aircraft in a group.
"<Airport> Traffic, <Name> taking the the active runway <Runway Number> for <Direction> Departure <Airport> Traffic"
Example
"Kutaisi Traffic, GDR 8-42 taking the active runway 04 for straight departure Kutaisi Traffic"
In the example above we are leaving the Kutaisi airport on runway 4 and we are not turning when we take-off.
"Kutaisi Traffic" is said at both the start and end in case someone listening misses the airport at the start of the transmission.
Prior to take-off always look left and right for other planes in case there are people landing that are not on comms.
After you take-off and leave the area of the airport you can say the following:
"<Airport> Traffic, last call for <Name>. <Airport> Traffic"
Example
"Kutaisi Traffic, last call for GDR 8-42, Kutaisi Traffic"
The reason for this is just to let people know you are out of the area and not part of flight traffic for the airport.
